It was a long time ago, back when printing was a dark mysterious trade, days of hand set type, liquid metal and no deadlines. It was the winter of 1942, and a business was started in cork, called City Printing Works Limited.

It started in the centre of the city, but before long space became tight and they had to move. Gathering up the machinery,and loading it onto horse drawn trailers (we said it was a long time ago) the move was made to Victoria Cross Cork, the present home of City Print Limited.

A legacy was started, one of  care and pride in our work, putting the customer first.
